I am so proud of Sam, Kelsey, JJ, and Jesha who all made it to state solo/ensemble this year. Great job ladies!!
Saturday Oct. 16 I offered the first masterclass for my studio. Amelia, Emilie, Alexandra, and Caroline all participated. We all had a great time singing for each other and helping each other. It was a huge success. Hope to see more of you there
I am so excited for the recital this Sunday. It is always so amazing to see the progress of my students.
"If you want to build a ship, don’t drum up people together to collect wood and don’t assign them tasks and work, but rather teach them to long for the endless immensity of the sea." - Antoine de Saint-Exupéry
I hope through my teaching I am not only teaching skills but instilling a deep love for music. I am so very proud of all the students who performed at the recital yesterday. It takes great character and bravery to share our gifts with the world. You all have individual and unique talents, I enjoy nurturing those talents. Thank you so much to each of you for trusting me with your gift and for being a part of my life.
I went tonight to The Wild Hog in the Woods to see one of my many talented students Emily Morrison-Weeks singing a set of folk music with Casey Day. I am so very proud of her. The music was uplifitng and touched many soul's tonight! Great job honey!
I am so very excited to launch this new website for my home studio. I will use this blog to talk about different subjects, and offer a place for my students to leave comments back to me. Please visit often!
